Dear Healing Space Community,

I have some very special news to share. 🤍

As many of you may already know, I'm preparing to welcome a new little life into my family! With this exciting chapter comes a new season for me, both personally and professionally, as I prepare to take maternity leave from Healing Space PT.

Before anything else, I want to take a moment to say thank you.

To every woman who has walked through my doors, welcomed me into her home, shared her story, or trusted me to be part of her healing journey — thank you.

Whether we've worked together through pelvic pain, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or simply learning to reconnect with your body, it has been an incredible privilege to be part of your care.

Healing Space PT has always been more than just a practice to me. It is rooted in something I believe deeply: Women deserve to feel supported, heard, and cared for through every season of their lives.

And now, I find myself entering a season where I need to extend that same compassion and care to myself.

As someone who spends so much of her time encouraging women to slow down, honor their recovery, and embrace the importance of rest after birth, I feel it is especially important that I practice what I preach.

I'm preparing for my own 40 days of postpartum rest and healing, and for the weeks and months beyond, as I adjust to life with a new baby and give my growing family the time and attention they deserve.

Stepping away from work that is so near and dear to my heart isn't an easy decision. But I know that this season of slowing down, being present, and allowing myself to be cared for is just as important as the work I do caring for others.

Your Healing Journey Doesn't Have to Pause

While I'm away, I want to make sure you continue to feel supported in your healing journey.

I've thoughtfully compiled a list of trusted practitioners and resources for those who may need continued pelvic health, prenatal, or postpartum support during my maternity leave. These are professionals whose approaches to healing align with the values that guide my own practice.

A Gentle Return: Virtual Care Will Come First

While I anticipate taking a longer break from in-person appointments, I hope to gradually reopen a limited number of virtual pelvic physical therapy appointments as I settle into this next chapter.

I don't have a set return date just yet, and I'm intentionally giving myself the flexibility to honor my own recovery and my family's needs.

If you're interested in working together virtually, I've created a Telehealth Priority List so you can be among the first to know when appointments become available.

Whether you're a returning patient or someone new to Healing Space PT, I'd love to stay connected.

There's no commitment to book — just an opportunity to stay informed.

Until We Meet Again...

I look forward to returning to this work when the time is right, with new experiences, new perspectives, and an even deeper appreciation for the incredible journey that is motherhood.

My hope is to return not simply as the practitioner you've known, but as an expanded version of myself, bringing everything this next season teaches me into the care I provide.

Until then, thank you for being part of Healing Space PT, for trusting me with your stories, and for allowing me to do work that I truly love.

With love and gratitude,
